ABOUT MOSAIC

Mosaic Hearts Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational support,

enrichment, and advocacy for underrepresented gifted and twice-exceptional learners and their families. Mosaic

Hearts believes every child deserves to have their unique gifts identified, nurtured, and celebrated

regardless of race, income, or background. We close the gap in gifted education access through tutoring,

therapy, entrepreneurship training, college preparation, and transformative enrichment experiences that

expose students to science, history, technology, and the world beyond their classroom. To date we have

reached over 100 families and delivered direct programming to students who have met astronauts,

attended lectures by leading scientists, visited planetariums and universities, and gained acceptance to

programs at institutions including Columbia University.

Students attended a star watch party at a museum in Raleigh, NC and met a NASA astronaut firsthand
Students attended a live lecture by Neil deGrasse Tyson and visited the planetarium where he works in NewYork City
Students visited planetariums in Gastonia, NC and New York City, expanding access to STEM experiences
Students took an educational trip to New York City learning the history of Central Park, Wall Street, and the 9/11 Memorial
A student received financial assistance and gained acceptance to a summer camp at Columbia University in New York
Students enrolled in an AI skills course designed specifically for teens
Students received therapy sessions supporting social-emotional development alongside academic growth
Students are receiving SAT prep, tutoring, and working with a mentor on individual passion projects
Over 100 families reached through outreach, resources, and community programming across SC and NC
